Tis I, good old RD!
How do I find you all? Good? Bad? Desperate for your next hit of RPG goodness? Yeah, I know the feeling. The question one must pose, however, is whether we want more shadowrun flavoured loving or, like crazy, RPG bees, need a new flower to pollinate with our creative seed?

I vote for a new RPG so new people can join in easier (and don't tell me how we can join anyway, no offense, but I don't wanna)

To be honest, it's so involved now that I'm completely lost. Maybe we should have more than one RPG? We could sort that out

bah! Frag ALOS, I think from the last two chapters it has shown that it's not only lost it's charm, but all hope of a plot. Not Wes' fault, not voes, not CKW's (although some of you may belive it). It's all our faults I feel. But if ALOS had a time to die, let it be now. On a clean slate, with a clean RPG.

Great, so AI is with me!!

Well, I've felt this way since transys... for reasons I choose not to disclose. And I wouldn't really put your hopes up for vo fighting your corner RD, but I will not speak for him.

I think Wes will fight to keep it though :/

I'm not sure about that. Although, he did want it to finish the last chapter before it died, does he count this as a finish? Who knows? We can always have two running, if somebody else can make a decent one.

I do concur chaps, ALOS is past it's heyday. I'd like to see either Winds of Change eventuate or a sort of Red Alert-esque World War 2 alternate reality. The WW2 one would surely fit in better with the themes of the CNCDen and hopefully gather more recruits for it. :D Mmnnn. Just thinking of all of the tasty scenarios that could be played out.

I like the idea of a new RPG. I've tried to read through ALOS and join in but I was completely lost :dizzy:
OBEY ME! FOR I AM TEH VOES!
Did anyone even have a backup of ALOS 5? If not, it's probably a lost cause anyhow, and, while it was fun, it might be better to start with a clean slate to drag even more fools into our web of despair. RD's WW2 idea could certainly be great, if we can keep everyone to one cohesive storyline (something I think MIGHT be harder in a world-war situation than the smaller, character-driven action of ALOS) and I can probably drag up WOC again if wanted. Of course, we'd be open for suggestions for anything else, and I'm all for doing SOMETHING... :)

How about we just get together an RPG Committee and invent a new rpg between us, then use that?

I'm not too sure about the WW2 idea. It seems too... big to capture in an RPG. It depends what aspect of war your focusing on.

Democracy has in the past shown itself to be redundant on the DEN. I doubt this would be any different.

If we made it a bit selective, you, me, AI and Wes... maybe a couple more people?

Well, the RPG was progressing so slowly I didn't make regular backups. I think I miss the 2 last pages.
So I'd say let it die in peace, and let's stop beating the dead horse. ALOS is over, let's continue with something else.

I don't think the WWII idea would be very good

I have the last page of ALOS backed up...
Edit: Btw, I like Red's idea :D
How about the oft-threatened Red Alert RPG?
Be extremely cool!
I wouldn't mind doing an Red Alert RPG series. :)

I still think an out in space one where earth is nothing but a slum and gang lords smuggle stuff from other planets... y'know, what we talked about Wes... that'd rock

So basically what your asking for Sniper... is Shadowrun in space? :rockbrow:
I'd like to either see Red's WW2 RPG in action (I want to be a medic :p)
Or whatever vo and Wes plan to do come to life, for I'm sure whatever it is, with those two working on it (no offence Sniper, but I don't think you could come up with a decent RPG. Niether could I for that matter).
As for an RA one, I don't like it myself :\

lmao, selective democracy.
I'd like to see a new RPG (even I didn't participate in the last one) as I kinda didn't like the cyber theme of the last one. Don't get me wrong, I think it was very well done, but I've always been oriented more towards fantasy than science fiction.

Btw, I felt that Winds of Change was started too early when the big one was still running... Post exam, I'll definitely be willing and able to play in a medieval-style RPG like WoC. Some sword-play seems like a fine break from gun-play.

GK is back, so you may now cast your votes to the 3rd option. :D
Well...actually, you really dont have to, just to make me happy. I came up with it to get ideas for the comics (which, BTW, i have started...check the sig.). I apologize for using you guys as a guinea pig.
Quicker than the Eye does take place in a era of swords, might and magic...and you could be a shape shifting Keltos or something...but i reiterate that you can hate the fur if you wanna...

Note: this is my very first post in the RPG Forum.
Never been into RPG...might as well start creating one when Rolk removes the ban. :D
advice : try playing one before starting one yourself.

Any the point of that post... was? :rockbrow:
I'm with voes, play one first, get expierance (as in, don't just make five posts and decide you've seen enough) and then, perhaps, make one. Although, I think three (even if one is very small scale) is enough.
