Psychonauts, just finished it. Such a brilliant game! Everybody should buy a copy just to make sure Double Fine can make more. An incredibly fun to play platformer wrapped up in the fantastic comedy of Tim Schafer.

You play as Razputin, Razz to friends. A 10 year old who snuck into psycic summer camp because he wants to train to become a Psychonaut, an elite comando force of psycics. But all is not well, kids start disapearing, there's rumours of a lake monster and only Razz has the talents to stop it.
Soon you'll find yourself inside the mind of variouse increainsgly weird people in an effort to uncover the truth.
Since you are not in the real world, really bizar things can happen and the level design really does give you the feeling that you are inside a persons, often insane, mind.

There's also lots of clever little refrences to other games and jokes about videogames in general.

I've heard its really good, but sold poorly. Kids these days don't appreciate quality games, they just look to see what has the highest rating and buy that. I really need to get that, but I think its only out for XBox and PS2, and while I did recently get a PS2, there are so many new and old games I want to get, its just going to have to get in the back (or middle...) of the long line :doped:

Oh yeah, I was killing time yesterday and decided to check on the RenAlert servers, I figured they'ld be bone dry considering its been about half a year since a patch, and they usually clear out within two months of a patch being released, but lo-and-behold, I found a server with fourteen people! So now I'm playing a little bit of RenAlert again in addition to New Super Mario Bros. (BTW, I finished my speedrun for MP:H with 2:10, I had wanted under two hours, I'll probably start a new one soon)

I just finished Ressurection of Evil today-- Solid expansion. There weren't many new weapons or enemies, but they didn't slack off on the level design and such at all. I enjoyed it almost as much as the original, particularly toward the end when things get really hairy.

I think I'm going to begin God of War now. --I've run out of PoP games, and methinks this follows in the same vein :)

I've downloaded from File Front before, and it definately does not reach my max bandwidth. Maybe its because I don't have a subscription, but usually File Front gives me poor speeds, so I google up some off-the-beaten-path site that gives me better speeds.

My connection is about 2.5Mbit/s, enough for online gaming. tooday the line seems stable, but last week I had disconnections every 20 minutes, wich is a little frustrating.

I finished Half-Life 1 pretty quickly (not that its a short game, I was just playing it intensly). One of the best games I've ever played, there were only a handful of flaws (the last boss was really lame). Logically, I started Half-Life 2 and have been having a blast with that, but so far (about halfway through) Half-Life 1 is still better. I'm also still playing Counter-Strike. And to top it all off: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for the N64, retro FTW! :p

It was easy enough once you learned the route, what drove me mad was escaping the graveyard before the bomb (I think it was a bomb) blew up, even when I knew the way out, I'ld always get stuck in some place with an invisible wall that I couldn't find my way around :p

Well it was hardly the only game I played. When I got CNC3 I completely sopped playing it for a few weeks as well. My completion time was a bit over 20 hours.

I'm pretty sure you just failed a puzzle. I was able to complete that part with no problems.

Also, you should have played HL2 after HL1, seriously, beating HL and then immediately loading up HL2 is awesome, they're incredibly seamless.

(BTW, HL1 > HL2, although both are great games)

Y'know, I would have done it normally (HL-HL2-HL2:EpOne), but my discs won't work in my current disc drive, so it screwed with my ability to play certain games. So, I went backwards. :gnarly:

Let me get this straight...
You jump off the dam, climb up the ladder to the structure that a marine blew up the bridge for, deactivate the turbines, kill the itchyosaur to get to the wheel underwater (Which I did with a shotgun. :gnarly: ), which you turn to open a set of grates near the turbines, which you swim past and go out of the dam area.
The turbine area was sealed up by a giant, pitch-black wall on both sides that was impossible to get through. Unless there was a button somewhere that makes those disappear, I don't think I screwed up anywhere.

I just finished playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare at a PC gameroom for several hours straight, and oh my god it was AWESOME!!!:hyper: Not only does the multiplayer mode kick total ass, especially in Domination and Free for All mode, but the campaign also has some of the most coolest moments I've seen in a game as well. Just wait till ya reach the end of 'Shock and Awe' or down the Havoc gunship with only a sniper rifle!:gnarly: Oh, and spoiler alert:

Your main character for the USMC, Sgt. Jackson, actually dies in the aftermath of the nuclear explosion... this moment really shocked and moved me, because not only do you die in such a harsh and oddly disturbing way, but it's just midway through the campaign to boot!
