Halo Wars: RTS for the Xbox 360

It looks like a kickass game, and will be made by the makers of the Age of Empires series. But come on! They're only releasing it for the Xbox 360 as of now! I hope they make it for PC.

Uh...yeah. Check in the faqs section of the official site(www.halowars.com (http://www.halowars.com)). It says for the xbox 360 exclusively.

Halo: Combat evolved, was at one point a Real Time Strategy game, at least that's how it started in the late mid-nineties (hard to belieave halo is a decade old)
but it was changed to a First person for a reason i don't know (Sorry) and knoe they are going back to RTS.

BUT DAMN, AM I PISSED THAT BUNGIES NOT DOING IT!!!!


Edit: it's not that i don't like Ensemble, i respect them highly. But it is Bungies idea.

I agree, although I think taking away from Halo's..."Haloness", for a lack of better terms, would bring the ratings down. I wonder if Halo 3 will use any new ideas?

Seems to be they're trying to capitalize off the Halo fanbase. *Coincidentally*, they shut down a Generals Halo TC before announcing this.

Yeah... Releasing yet another game in their leading francise that they know it's fanbase will just eat up regardless of it's genre... That's incredibly stupid of Microsoft. :p

And I'd ignore the Xbox Exclusive thing anyway. It's usually a pack of lies as even the old Xbox struggled to keep anything exclusive. The original Halo was supposed to be too, remember.

Looks good, mind. Has Bungie's approval (they're even hyping the damn thing!) and leaves them free to work on Halo 3. Just wonder how Peter Jackson's Halo project is going...

Yeah, because here before to long Halo 2 will be out for the PC. It just takes a while for them to change their mind. ( Just long enough for most people to own that system already)

But here is the thing: If they want it to be good for a console, they have to make it with the console specifically in mind, if you tried to port this to the PC, you'ld have an absolutely ****ty RTS. If you design it from the beginning to be work well on a PC, it will suck on the console, and who ports bad games?

So I'm expecting that it will be something like Pikmin (but with war instead of flowers) and will never be ported. The other possibility is that it will be like BFMEII and will suck.
