Ugh, I HATED Red Faction 2. It was too short, too easy (even on the harder difficulties), waaaaaaay too arcadey, had little to do with the first game, the multiplayer maps, bots, and overall balance was crap, the Geo-mod gimmick was horribly underused and was actually less powerful than the first game, and it ripped off Halo's healing/shield system long before anyone else did. The only good thing about it was that it's guns were pretty cool, but that's it.:curse:


Back then, TimeSplitters 2 was a far better buy, since the balancing was pretty good and the multiplayer was awesome (friends or no friends!).



But hey, if they release another Red Faction, then fine, more games for the masses!!!:yummy:

yeah, because personal sheild systems were totally original in halo.

A shield that recharged on its own, is not a far cry from a shield that is recharged from a helth pickup. Its literaly a "hey, what if we did this instaed." idea.

Halo wasnt some hugely orginal game ricko, and niether is anything anymore. everythings been done somewere somehow.

on halo you have to have mates round to play multiplayer
on RF3 from what i have heard from a good few ppl that you still get to fight the AI in a multiplayer game still

The first two were a nice treat to play. The first one had a better replay value, but number two was alright too.

If a number three comes out, I probably won't get it. Not that I don't want it, just that I haven't bothered getting any of the new consoles.

Get Galactic Civilizations 2: it's a hell of a lot better than that game, plus the AI is pretty challenging too!!!

I quite liked RF2 but the first one was better. It's a bit dated now though. Gameplay is ok, the story is quite good, as its unique (at least in all the games i've played)

Yeah, I own that too, that game gives the word sich a new meaning, its awesome.
