on the ra2 mainmenu type "HIRES" this will be confirmed by a tick, you can then go and access higher ra2 resolutions in the options menu.

Nice trick but won't get you the extreme resolutions you actually want..

yea, if u keep pressing alt+f4 at the same time, the game will let you play a secret mission.

Just edit the ini files in RA2 directory and add the resultion of ur choice.

Great trick even though when I tried this on highest res and the menu when you press esc in game is f***ed up . and when i try online it tells me to change to 800x600 or whatever.Thebuildings look wierd and theres a lot of cameos at the side :D .

yeah, higher resolutions can be achieved by editing the INI files, i cant remember exactly, but if you go into your RA2 directory, and open ra2.ini you can change the video size, its set to 640by480 to start with, all you have to do is change
[Video]
ScreenWidth=640
ScreenHeight=480
StretchMovies=no

to whatever size you want....eg
[Video]
ScreenWidth=1280
ScreenHeight=1024
StretchMovies=no

stretch movies just means if the game should make the cutscences fit the resolution. btw..if the main menu screen etc.. seem to only use up the middle of your screen, its okay, when you play a mission or skirmish it should use the whole screen. =D
