How do I beat Gen Ironside

Has anyone ever beat Ironside? I'm sure someone has but I've never seen any tips on how to beat him. Are there any tutorials?

The single player mission? It is easy, just drop him.

I would do two drops with about 10MDs and 6 Rangers. Remember you have 50K on that map.

Yeah I've been trying that and it looks promising but so far he gets the best of me. Just can't get that stuff over to his base quite fast enough. I don't about the POW truck thing either. Is that useful?

How can you not be able to drop Ironside :/

Que 2 extra dozers.

D1>Power>Supply Center
D2>Rax>WF
D3>Supply to the far right iirc.

Rax: Cue 9 MD
Supply: Cue 2 extra nooks
WF: Spam towvees.

The first 3 MD you get, chuck them into a chinook then drop them at his base & prevent him dozers from finishing the turrets. Then have two of them sit outside his CC, and send one to his supply to LL nooks. Then just drop a humvee/ambo/whatever to kill the infantry before it can leave the Rax. This 'mission' is a pushover tbh :/

You could also just rush his base with the good ol dozer/barracks combo. You know, the one where you send a dozer over to an opponents base then start churning out MD and rangers and capture his CC? Works pretty well against him!

U've already received some tips here, but if u want the easy way, just look closely to find that he don't have any real AA force, so air power is something he can't handle. In one word: Comanches! ;)

Anyway, he have some patriots and so u'll need some humvees or crusaders to handle it better than just pure comanche spam. Tell me the results.;)

I said the easy way, not necessarily the quickest. And comanches aren't that late after all, since u have lots of money.
PP then Supply then dual AF = comanches in no time;)

Are u sure u can handle the level that quicker than my comanches?:)

OK, OK! crippling him maybe (the most important), but crumble any building..., maybe my flying force is a little better. Anyway, your blitz sounds very good to me. In fact, i'll try it the next time i play vs him, just to see if i can do it as well. :)
