They took the Rifle and just lopped off the stock, scope and barrel and called the body a gun.

When confronted with this information on their content...or w/e... their reply was "firstly, you're a complete idiot. you really expect there to be any logical comparison between the two? You have got to be kidding me. secondly, you're GIVING me a reason to ban you." -p0intman

Does anyone else agree that they are stealing this gun? I don't want to appear an even bigger asshole then I usually am.

Wait a sec, I have to disagree; the gun looks more stubbier and simpler than the Renegade sniper rifle, and it also has a LAM laser.

I don't think it really matters that much. Yes you are correct that the design is the same essentially, but I guess it's only something small. Try emailing EA, that's the only way you can achieve anything here. If EA is made aware of it, I'm sure they'll feel free to take action if they feel necessary.

It took me a minute to realize it, but yeah, they basically just chopped off the barrel of the rifle.

Its way too close to be a coincidence, but honestly, who cares?

I don't see how you guys can see any similarities in the weapons. In one of the links that they used for the other game, it looked like a screen shot directly from renegade, can't remember which map though.

It looks like to me is, they where just too lazy to design there own weapons.. It doesn't look like a very interesting game anyway.. From what I could see from their screen shots, It looked like there where using an game engine (not sure if that's the right term) with the number of side of polygons at about the same number as that of renegades game engine, but their texture details are higher. (You may have to read my post several time to understand my wording..) :dead:
