View Full Version : Question about C&C 3 System Requirements

On the system requirements section of the DEN homepage for C&C 3 it says:
" -Video: GeForce4, ATI Radeon 8500 or greater (ATI Radeon 9200 and 9250 PCI, NVIDIA Geforce 4 MX cards not supported.)"
Since I have the AGP version of the ATI Radeon 9200 I was wondering if this meant that only the PCI version of the card is not supported or if the Radeon 9200 itself is not supported?
Thanks for help,

The 9200 should be supported. To be honest though for like £30-40 you could probably upgrade to somthing far far better.

I have a 9250 so it should work for you. Just download the demo and find out

you have the 9250 too pci or agp? that sucks if cnc 3 won't support it been waiting for this game for along time if the game doesn't support the ati radeon 9250 I'll just have to get the xbox 360 version of the game. :(

A video card (a decent one, that is) will probably cost $150-$200 dollars, not counting any other upgrades needed, which will probably push the price up to or beyond that of the 360. That, and there's always compatibilty issues of some kind, so you might be better off with buying the 360.

Hell, just let him save up some cash. We're not even sure if he has a 360 to begin with.

my 9250 is a PCI card
I just got cnc 3 today and it works with my 9250 pci card so is should work for you as well just have all of your settings on very low I know that sucks because you don't have all of the eye candy but at least it still works. It is still laggy but I'm glad that I can still play it. I guess having 1 gb of memory in my computer helps and yes I do have 360 and will be getting cnc 3 for it as well.
