What EGLN Is Looking For
Video Technicians
Job Duties & Requirements are as follows:
2 Strong running computers that are able to capture video/stream video
MUST 18 years of age or older. NO exceptions period
MUST have 3-4 hours a week free. More is appreciated
The schedule that will allow you to travel 1-2 times a year. This isn't a must, but will greater your chances of being hired.
Strong internet connection (cable connection is a must).
MUST work well with others and can be comfortable infront of a crowd (LAN events etc.).
MUST have the knowledge of the game you wish to broadcast.
Game Broadcasters
Job Duties & Requirements are as follows:
MUST be 18 years of age or older. NO exceptions
Must have a knowledge of the game you wish to broadcast.
MUST work well with others. This job requires alot of "people skills," so you must be able to display those skills.
Have a good "radio voice". This is usually determined during the interview that will follow after your application is reviewed.
3-4 hours a week free is usually a must if not more. Make sure before you apply that this is something you can commit too.
Writers & Editors
Job Duties & Requirements are as follows:
MUST be 16 years of age or older. NO axceptions are made.
Must be able to write in a 10th grade reading level and/or a college/university level.
MUST have english grammar knowledge and skills. We don't mind hiring writers from outside the USA and Canada, but most of our readers are from Canada and the USA.
Must produce 1-2 articles a week minimum.
Editor positions: Must be in college/university or a graduate of college/university.
Must display people skills. You will be working with many people on a daily basis. Everyone must get along.
Video Production Team (EGLN Productions Inc.)
Job Duties & Requirements are as follows:
MUST be 18 years of age or older.
Portfolio of past video creations is usually required.
MUST be able to work under deadlines.
MUST have your own software. EGLN does not provide this for you (software keys etc.)
