i just tried to make a goddamn EA master account, so i could secure a persona for when i start to play (soon), however no matter what name i try, it always says its taken, wtf??

Happened to me aswell, and it's a big mess to make an account, thumbs down EA. Go to the C&C or EA website and make an EA 'master' account. Then you have to create a 'persona' (online nickname). Then you have to register your copy of C&C 3, and login. I had to try several times though. :|

Also, after 10-15 seconds I'm logged in and online, the game quits/crashes and I get the 'splash' screen as if I just inserted the Game disc. Bah. :mad:

It worked fine for me, registering using the button in the game itself.

Try going into C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Command & Conquer 3\
Somewhere in there is an options.ini file, make a backup and delete it. Seems to help some people
