I am running an FX 5200 128 mb card. I am having game crash issues. I have about $125.00 - $135.00 I can spend. I am interested in reading what videocards you might suggest & PLEASE provide a link to where I can buy it.
I spent too much so far NOT to have this game playable. :dismay:I do need AGP

A 7600GS/7600GT/X1600/X1650PRO from http://www.newegg.com should suffice for c&c 3. 7600GT and X1650PRO are the better cards and with that are more expensive, especially in AGP flavours.

So I'm looking at an XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB PCIe Video Card on tigerdirect, which comes with 2 games for about $299.
Is there that big of an advantage over a 7600 GT or would I be better off saving the $200.

Er, Massive advantage, Especially for future proofing... For a while atleast.
I've got a 7900GS and it runs everything top specs fine at the moment.

The 8800 is the way to go. It is the only card out now that'l run DX10 programs and uses opengl3. That, and with that good of a price, id go for it.
