GDI Firehawk Harassment

This only really works when you have like 20-40 Firehawks and a lot of money.
When you have that many fly them into a group; then scatter them as far as possible, then start attacking your enemies buildings one by one, the firehawks will be spread out so u wont be wasting any ammo and it will seem like an endless amount of firehawks taking out the buildings,
What is more awesome is they go back to the base one by one, so they reload 1 by 1; meaning you can constantly harass you enemy; always target the power first.
Next do move orders just attach orders; and the firehawks that are out of ammo will ignore your attack command.
Keep giving attacking commands and the firehawks that refill on ammo will take off first. Making this an unstoppable constant attack until the death of your enemies.

After you enemies power is down attack all conyards and cranes, then kill the war factories. This will prevent him from rebuilding any buildings.

If you do it right your enemy will be smashed.

In a real game you will not have anywhere close to that many firehawks, but good point about the attack command and reloading.

Firehawks are nice, but you don't need that many.

I tend to get about 4 airfields full (takes about 15 minutes) and then try to do pinpoint strikes here and there.
Whenever I don't need them to bomb stuff or when I'm busy with something else I switch them to AA and set them over my base, outpost, army, etc. (or if the enemy is going plane crazy)

However, you really need to be carefull.
Just now I was in a 3v3 game, and all my enemies had superweapons up (2 Ion's and a temple) and since my teammates were rather incompetent I had to take care of it. (I already made myself rather impopular by wiping out half of one's base)
So, I send my firehawks in, the first Ion was easy, hardly any AA (1 turret), so I fly them in and out by the direct route, they got shot up a bit but that's no problem, it gets repaired while they reload.

Then the second one, the base was crawling with missile squads, so I have my planes come up from the side (which the other guys base had been, I rolled in the mammy's right after the guys Ion was down) which wasn't very much defended, drop the bombs, destroy the Ion and get out the same way, lost 1 aircraft. (which is very little, since the base had like 20 missiles squads in it)

Then the third one, the timer is running low so I'm in a hurry, the firehawks go into the base, about 2 explode before they get there, 1 more as they exit the base and then I look away to my ground force.
Bad idea... between that guy's base and my base was a group of mammy's, and they totally raped my airforce with their missiles, none survived.
A few moments later I check my airfields to see if my firehawks have reloaded yet, and find them empty.

As you can see, if you plan it well, a few planes can do good damage at little to no cost but you really need to plan well for it to work, as it's very risky.

8-12 firehawks is all you'll ever really need. Any more and you're just being wasteful.

Actually, the Scrin ARE the sole reason why I build Firehawks in the first place, bud... they can really help to hold off any Carriers or Devastators!

totaly agree with you there you need 8-12 firehawks at least while fighting the scrin's air power.

and it does work massing firehawks owns. most people online dont expect it. they expect mass mamoth tanks.
well i mass mamoth tanks after i built my aircraft :P
