search previous posts.
tha way to fix this is to change the properties of all the .exe's in the directory to the worst compatibility. IE win 95,98 etc.
the patches do not inhibit(big word, i so proud.)normal games, you just need them to play online

Have you downloaded any mods for the game? If so, uninstall everything and reinstall it but don't d/l the mods again.

heres ur prob for the exploding units ur version of yrui os not genuin and it "found out" so to say the only way to fix it is to ether reinstall or if that dosent work find a new copy the others are prob just nongame realeted (spyware n stuff) slowing down ur computer so if u dont already find some spyware scanners peace homey

I had this same problem. That's why I don't play online. I downloaded a patch to play online and then BOOM! Everything just exploded. Even in single player, before battle control comes online. I had to reinstall the game and never played online again.

I've heard of this happening to people that download the game from a torrent site, not from people that have the actual game. You didn't DL it did you? If you didn't, make sure the disc is in good condition before installing, a scratched disc can make corrupt files that the game doesn't notice until the game is installed. I had plenty of actual crashes because of this. Had to buy a whole new set so I could play again. :squint:

I've seen people that have that exploding bug and they have the official game, try re-installing that works.

Even if you have the official game and you download a mod, sometimes the mod will cause this. I know from experience.
