Commented Replays

I have yet to watch a replay with comments. Anyplace I could look for some?
It should be an easy way to point out what players are doing right and wrong.

hmm if ur looking to better ur self in this game i would just find a really good player playing a 1v1 game and play him ( your gona get owned of course but u will have the replay to see how he is so good; but he could be just a very good rusher, althought u can better yourself in rushing)

Yes, I watch replays of myself losing, but I don't seek out 1v1 games against a high ranked player, doesn't sound like fun :P

I'm just curious how the comments work, and if anybody uses it.

Go to the forums, there is a section for commented replays (usually called shoutcasts). They've got around 20, including games by the top players and one by the EA developers.

For a live game, join up then set your army to "Commentator" (although it might be called "Telestrator"), make sure that you have your in-game VoiP settings (in the Options menu) set to "Voice Activated" (the "Push-to-Talk" doesn't work with commenting) then once the game has started you observe it like normal, but anything you say into your mic will be recorded and you can draw lines on the screen.

For a replay, go to the replay menu and select the replay, then check the box that says "Save Comments", and do the same as above.
