a small problem with online...

I use my laptop to play games as my comp isn't good enough... so obviously I have wireless. Anyway when I play older games on the PC they work fine online, but on the laptop I always get disconnected when the game is loading online... I turned off Norton security but it still doesnt work, any suggestions?:redface:

Is this every game? Or just c&c 3?

Has your laptop got a LAN port? If so go plug in a wire and disable the wireless on it, see if it helps. Take the one from your old computer and use it on the lappy if you can, just to test it.

i play on a laptop to go online and i have never had that problem. i think either there is something wrong with your internet connection or your Wi-Fi signal is being disrupted. That happens a lot with wireless connections. sometimes when you are on the internet it just a of a sudden says "cannot find server." its a common problem with wireless connection. try plugging your laptop directly into the ethernet cord and turn off the wireless.
