Buzzers... a group of flying razor blades.

Okay...so, just how do they fly, and exactly how does shooting them do anything to them? Wouldn't you think that without using high explosives that it would be near impossible to kill them?

i would expect it to be some sort of swarm type thing that spreads its intelligence through the many flying blade thingys so to shoot it really wouldn't do anything at all :rockbrow:

One would presume the Mothership had engines...

I know it's a game, but I like to be able to make sense out of things. Comes from spending too much time at the kaijuphile forums during the Daikaiju Dessumachi.

ever read the swarm by frank schaetzing?

imagine those razorblades just as a huuuge bunch of nano-tech-stuff with some little gliders attached and a mini-engine on each "blade", the blade-edges just being specially formed parts of those minivessels...

and if you let 20 people shoot like 3 full rounds into a bee swarm...don't you imagine that at that speed that the bullets travel...at least some bees are hit before they evade? :)
