C&C3 Keeps locking up in Sarajevo.

Has happened about 5 times straight now. Around the time the count down timer for the Nod nuke reaches zero, the screen freezes...with jagged looking lines, I can still kind of see the screen and sometimes I can still hear the background noise...but it just freezes. Is this a known graphics card issues or game issue?

Running a 7600 GS, medium settings, windows Vista. 3GB ram.

Try lowering your graphics settings. If that doesn't work, then try to clean out your PC of dust: it can sometimes work wonders, believe me;)

PC is brand new. I was hoping the 7600GS would at least run at medium settings...maybe I'll just take it back and splurge on the 8800.

I'm running the game fine with a 6600 at medium-high...

Could just be the nuke? That's the one graphical effect that causes noticable slowdown on my PC - even the ion cannon and rift don't slow it down noticably. Have you tried watching one explode in skirmish? Does that slow down your comp at all?
I'm playing on a (admittedly pretty new) non-gaming laptop with the built in graphics card at slightly adjusted medium settings. I really don't see how your new PC could be struggling at those settings if you bear that in mind.
