Whats your favoured GDI ending? *spoilers*

I liked the one labelled "pyrrhic victory" where you detonate the liquid tiberium bomb and you get grangers job, also the charismatic cane wielding leader of GDI is pretty much your new best pal. Seems like a decent setup to me.

Also on a related note, which ending will be the one they follow? Have EA said yet? Think it will depend on which actor they can get back for the part?

I was going for the other one, I didn't wanna take the risk of detonating the LTB! Although I did make a save just before I won the last mission so I could load up again and see if using the LTB made a difference.

I detonated the LTB, but don't know what difference it made, since I felt a bit too bored to wait to construct a Commando/APC to get his ass over to Temple Prime.

Next time I play the mission, I won't for sure.

Meh, I did it with an ion cannon/rift generator combo. Easily as powerful as the LTB.

I pelted the Command Node thing with shockwave artillery twice before using the ion cannon on it. But damn Nod and their catalyst missles! Killed my 2 refineries three times in all 3 shots!

I did not use the LTB either.

I just finished using the LTB in the last mission, and little did I realize how god damn dangerous it was, especially if it lands near any tiberium fields! (And given the fact that the whole map is one big field, that's kinda unavoidable):|

Don't think I even built an Ion cannon, and the Rift generator got destroyed by warships. ::Shrug:: and didn't use the LTB.

At first I decided to be retarded and used a mass of infantry to see if they could do anything. Needless to say they got "owndizzled". So then I went and completely annihilated the tower with my amazing Predator/Mammoth/Firehawk combo. Why did I build Predators you ask? I don't even know! :p

But as others have said, I saved it before I beat the mission, so I can always go back and use the bomb.

I built my ion cannon, but I had to destroy their superweapon cos the engineer was too far away to take it in time. I just captured thier command center instead and built my way up to a rift generator, apparently that's as good as taking over the aliens one, woo!

Personally I prefer the no-LTB ending, as general Granger says, to use tiberium weapons isnt GDI style, they got their own ways to wage war.

I agree: the non LTB ending is more likely to be the real one: plus, it got Boyle fired, so no more dumbass decisions like blasting Kane's Temple with the Ion Cannon even though it was obvious that Kane was goading them to do so.
