Err... bigger problem...

I managed to get red alert two and yuri uninstalled, but now when I try to reinstall it about 70% through a message pops up saying
"cannot read from RA2.mix"
does anyone know how to fix this?

I have that sometimes but i now have TFD any way. That means that the disc cannot be read meaning it cannot install a certain part. Either clean the disc of buy a new one :) Hope this helps sorry that you might have to buy a new one.

the disk is perfectly clean. I can open it and all, but when I do, and when I install it, the little message pops up saying "cannot open RA2.mix" or for yuri "cannot open RA2MD.mix" ... I know it is odd.

I have tested it on two computers and same effect. It will not install anything until it finds RA2.mix.

I copied the RA2.mix file that was in the disk when I explored it over to my desktop and opened it with XCC mixer. 75% of the Files in it were titled .mix but it said that they were W3D applications! :freek:
