The Blossom tree can't spread

Something interesting I found while playing the old DOS version of CNC TD. If you put walls around the blossom trees, they can't spread tiberium. I thought that was kinda cool. I don't know if it works with the 95 version but I'm going to try it later today after I get off work.

True, it can't spread... But remember, that's your money your stopping..

If what you mean by the (windows) 95 version, is Tiberium Sun, then no. It can't spread past walls.

no he means the second updated version of TD they released on win 95 after its original release on DOS

i'll try the 95 version soon to see if it changed

Ohh yeah I know about that, I was just goofing around while playing the old version, building up a massive base when I noticed that a couple of blossom trees I walled off were not spreading tiberium, it was a big map so it wasn't any loss really. I'm going to be going to be off work in about 30 minutes then I'm going to go eat, so probably here in about 2 hours I can try it.

um, if you wall off blossom trees in TS they can't spread either... your point? :\

I mean, besides in the odd few missions where you need to protect civilians from tiberium, stopping the spread is a BAD thing you know... as NoG5 already pointed out, you kinda need tiberium in the game.

I was just pointing it out. I know how valuable the tiberium is I just noticed it after I inadvertently blocked off a couple of blossom trees and thought it was kinda neat. Ohh well.
