Next stop Tera.

In 1995 I bought a complete PC incluing 17" monitor and DeskJet printer for around $4,000. It was a speed demon with an Intel Pentium 133MHz CPU, 16MB of RAM, ATI 4MB video card, Sound Blaster 32 sound card, 4x CD-ROM and a whopping 1.2 gigabyte hard drive.

Over the years I've watched the HDs grow to fit the needed space of ever demanding software. Today a normal game on DVD will eat about three to seven gigabytes of fine grade hard drive plate. My 160GB Maxtor IDE HD of two years ago is obsolete. Sure it still works, but after installing about 15 games at around 4 gigs a piece, plus photos, videos and other application software I had little left to work with. So Recently I upgraded my main work horse PC with two 300GB SATA HDs. Was it enough? Time will tell.

Next stop...Terabyte.

I'm living just fine on my single 250 GB hard drive. Then again, I just got the computer in February... :scared:

I got my new PC in January, Only has 250GB too... Does me though. I tend to get bored of some games and uninstall them shortly after.

Barely keep any photos on here, and there's only about a Gigs worth of MP3s on it atm. So it'll last a while for me I think. hehe
