Error

whenever I try to start up the world builder it ends up slowing down my computer and not responding, any ideas?

I got mine running, but it takes a while to load. Watching the resources in the task manager, my RAM usage jumps from ~250MB all the way up to 1.40GB. The editor is a heck of a resource hog. (I'm runnin XP Pro if that matters.)

I forgot to add I'm running 1GB of RAM. Jumping to 1.4GB definitely pushes the virtual memory (which runs off the hard drive) and I'm not sure if your crashes are related to memory overload or something else.

I wonder if anyone with less than 1GB of RAM has actually been able to get the Worldbuilder to run?

people worldbuilder loads up the ENTIRE cnc3 section in your memory (which is roughly 2.5 gb

if you open up your taskmngr you can see that it uses a lot of ram for the first 5 minutes

patience is the way.

I need to know how to set the players start point, to make buildings all you need to do is go to the the picture of two arrows at a right angle with another sticking out between them

Make a waypoint, name it Player_#_Start where # is the player number (1-8).

Or you could check the tutorials :p
