Discuss who you think is the most underappreciated or underused character in the series!
Personally, I think Anton Slavik deserved much more attention than he's gotten -- he really shoulda appeared in C&C3, or at least been mentioned once!

You know that guy in Operation Deep Sea from Red Alert 2, that appears at the very beginning when the first island falls and he's like, "Sir, this is not looking good. If we don't get help soon, we're finished." And then you never see him again and we're left to assume that the Reds got him? I think that guy deserved to get rescued somehow during that same mission and see another mission that he'd show up and help you out in slowing people down while you held a defense. And then he could show up next to you when General Carville is talking between missions and give you the eyebrow. Or maybe a little wink. I really do.
But in all seriousness, I would love to have seen more Kilian in C&C3. Sure, it makes the most sense to the plot that she did what she did, and died how she died, or else the Nod campaign would be too straightforward to be much fun. The actor plays the role too well, I guess, but I liked her character, the compassionate role she played in her eternal loyalty to Nod.
Oh, and it really does bother me that they only put the GLA generals into the ZH campaigns. I liked USAF's personality from the Generals Challenge, he coulda been the breakthrough character for the soulless ZH campaign.
(Note: I was introduced to C&C at RA2, have only barely played TS, where most of the real characters probably are)

Then ya really did miss out on some of the bigger C&C characters. Tiberian Sun had a TON of guys that were severely under-used -- General Hassan, Jake McNeil, Tratos, Ghost Stalker -- the list for the underused was huge.
As for that soldier you're talking about. I think he appeared in the second to 11th mission where you must defend Einsteins Lab from the Soviets, but he gets wiped out pretty early there.
And I'm not even %100 sure if Kilian really betrayed the Brotherhood. I mean, really, it looks like Kane set her up to fall at some point...

Killian did betray nod, there were supposed to be "reenforcements coming in from australia, they might help you out" and then they end up attacking you. I agree though i wanted to see more of killian, was a bit miffed when she died :(.
Actually apart from her i cant think of any characters that were under used, the ones that ticked me off were the lesser seen ones usually like general vladimir from ra2 and that kukov soab from ra1. The ones i liked more were always more common.
I KNOW!! At the end of the GDI campaign from c&c1 theres kane and two nod guys, one of thems a badass with an eyepatch and the others a little wuss that wants to run away, and he tries too and then gets shot by the eyepatch dude. There shouldve been more of the eyepatch dude! hes the kinda guy you want on team, the whole place is falling apart and the battles hopelessly lost but he remains calm and states the tactical situation to his leader efficiently and executes the wimpy guy on sight!

I havent finished CnC 3 yet but anyway. If anyone from Tiberian Sun shoudlve been back it shouldve been Slavik. At least in Firestorm you see Tratos and Umagon die and its speculated that McNeil and his crew died when the Kodiak crashed during the Ion storm. You didnt even see Oxanna back in FS I was at least hoping she wouldve been a General but oh well.
As for the Red Alert series at least we know that Nadia (as much as I liked her) Gradinko and Kukov died during the Allied assault on the Kremlin. It wouldve been nice to see Elsling and Starvos return to be your briefing officers during the missions in Europe. I was disappointed to not see Vladimir in YR but we werent even given an explanation on what happend to him during the cut scenes. Hell at least you shouldve been introduced to the Soviet country leaders during the Soviet campaign but thats just me.
With Generals we at least can assume that Prince Kassad is dead when GLA was busy reuniting. Perhaps Dr. Thrax will be welcomed back into the fold if a Generals 2 is made.
