What I like in a map.....

I thought I would start a thread that would let the players give the map malers some ideas. :wave:

These are some things I like in a map:
1. Bright - No night maps for me. I really like the ones in Snow.
2. Big maps with an area that I can defend easily. I like to spread my base out.
3. Choke points. Like a single bridge that connects both sides of the map.
4. Crates & goodies - I loved it in ZH when we could get some free tanks.
5. Things to garrison - like in lion's first map, those gun turrets & the ECM control buildings.

These are just some ideas that may help the map makers to make maps that we will all enjoy. :chin:

I like a map that encourages different tactics to be implied,, much like your suggestion of choke points. I like maps that are surrounded by water where you can fly aircraft unhindered by cground units, and hidden in the shrowd. good fun stuff, I like maps that force two people to fight for a field of tiberian, like a large blue field in the center

Distance between players with enough things midway to ensure a no-rush and interesting game.
