When i double-click a building in the build list, there is an option called Script. Anyone know what this does? Does it mean that when the building is built, it will fire the subroutine that has been assigned to the script option?

I think this is like the same thing you do with a team. After you create a subroutine script, you can select this script with a with. (The thing you were asking what was for) Select the subroutine script that you made. I think when this script is triggered, the AI player will start to build that building.
You can read the official world builer tut about Build List & script subroutines. http://generalsmaps.net/worldbuilder.php The team over at http://cncmaps.net/ I'm sure will be able to help. You'll have to get a membership there just like you did with this web site. This site isn't always online so try it at different times of the day.

I know this strays from what you meant chaoscontrol512. There are cheat build scripts people make(use), they enable this before the game and can have build ques executing with out the need of the end user. It sure can be difficult to beat a pro with a bot keeping it tight.

oh ok. In my map the AI has two barrackses (barrackii?). What im trying to do is when the ai builds one barracks, it begins building one team there, and when it builds the other barracks, it begins building a different team there. Is there a way to do this?

Make a normal script & select the condition, "Player\Owns\Player owns (comparison) unit type." So for the first barracks, put this information:
"Player '???' has Equal To 1 unit or structure of type 'AmericaBarracks'"
For the second barrack put the condition as:
"Player '???' has Equal To 2 unit or structure of type 'AmericaBarracks'"
