Hi guys,wonder if anyone can give a bit of help please
I keep getting error when trying to play zero hour
Error parsing INI file 'Data\INI\Object\uffbuildings.ini' (Line: 'Object UFFCommandCenter ')
I've uninstalled removed all files,run reg cleaner,no virus,no overheating ,new windows install,new hard drive, no background tasks running all other games are ok
Every time i install same error
system specs is ok for the game
P4 3.0 gig
memory ddr2 667 3.0 gig
graphics radeon x800
sound x fi music
hard drives 2x200g sata
1x 160 g

Have you tried uninstalling Generals (not Zero Hour) too? Zero Hour uses some of the files from Generals. I'd reccamend you unistall both games, delete both game directories, then reinstall them. Let us know if you have the same problem after that.;)

no luck m8 ,still same error done both games ,reg mechanic,after uninstall
thanks for the tip i didn't even think of del generals as well, as it runs fine
was worth a try though thanks :lol:

Mabey the problem might be in the "My Documents\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data" folder. The game uses some of the files their. Try deleting that folder, but be sure to move any unofficial maps out of it first that you may have. Now try opening up the game.

If that doesn't work it probably a problem with the cd(s) (they mabey scratched) or your computer.

UPDATE THIS MORNING, GAME NOW INSTALLED :D
I DID DELETE ALL THE FOLDERS RELATING TO BOTH GAMES
TRIED AGAIN JUST NOW AND USED A DIFFERENT LOCATION (NOT EA) TO UPDATE TO 1.04 AND WORKED FINE,MUST BE PC PLAYING UP ALSO HAD A MOD INSTALLED IN GENERALS MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE PROB

uff buildings? wth r those?? never heard of em before, or seen em anywhere in the ini files.

The UFF buildings are part of a mod for Generals (not Zero Hour) called United Fighting Force.

Gotcha. The mod might be the problem, try removing it.
