F***ing Spammers

I have a forum on a site I own, I run PhPBB software.
I cannot for the life of me slow down the damn spam accounts being created. I downloaded a MOD that I just cannot understand to get it running right.

If someone here has experience with a good anti spam MOD for PhPBB, please PM me.

Turn on image verification if PHPBB supports it. I know vB does.
