thought i'd try my hand at a non symetrical map

this is the result so far

it's very basic with landscape sketched out and not alot else so far

I'd say keep working, and a nice n dirty map would be nice too :D

maybe with a few grassy areas too?

if your going to make a redzone climite take a look at my video example of how i make better looking cliffs, because those ridges looks very basic... Go to this tread (http://forums.cncden.com/showthread.php?t=19869) and click on the large "HERE";)

i'm going for more of a yellow zone feel to the map

and yes the cliffs are very basic i have not yet done any smoothing or detailed work on the terrain

I've seen someone who implemented snow textures on another forum... can't remember where exactly
