Hey guys,
It's been awhile since I've been here. And I know that there is probly a thread already on this, just didn't see one.
What I need to know is how to report a cheater? I saved the replay, but I need to know how to send it to EA to ban the guy.
I was fighting in a 1v2, and they were losing so one of them left and the other built demo scuds, and started that whole auto-launch cheat.
But it still was fun to push the Noob to that point, LOL.:evil:
His online name was "LoOoL"

EA will do nothing afaik. You can submit it on GR, and get his UID or w/e it is for C&C on the hackers list.

well, i say don't even bother it. its like killing weed, u just can't kill them all, there are so many, and they are constantly spawning

Well, the hole thing with the scud storm is an EA bug. It's commenly know as the Scud Bug. I knew how to do it on Generals (not Zero Hour) but I can't seem to figure it out for Zero Hour. Not that I'd use if of course, I don't like GLA. Much rather be Laser General! So when you encounter these guys & they manage to get a scud storm built. They best thing to do is just leave.

Its a SOAB that the bug can be used with the Scud Storm. At only 15% built it can be exploited. In effect it can be used and exploited with out the chance to kill it. You dont even know it exists yet.

It can be exploited at any percent, 0% to 100%.

i hardly see any players get scud storm, unless its gla mirror. so perhaps rush early.

never been scudbugged before, cept in an ffg when someone taught me to do it. I've since forgotten XD
I did rush them, but I was playing a 1v2 for fun, and we were on Death Valley, so they had a little time to biuld some Scuds. I wasn't really that mad, considering I had already killed off one of them, and the other was losing fast, but I just think those types are little pricks, and wondered if there was a way to shut them down.
Personally, I don't know how they thinks it's fun to cheat?:sleep: Why not ust play the Computor on easy:nuts: if they want a sure win.:D THey are worse than Noobs with records like 112 wins to 615 losses. :lmao: At least these guys continue on with honor inspite of how much they lose.

Those players are actually quite experienced & skillfull, and they usually offer some pretty gg's. You'll rarely see them do anything cheap.

Yeah, as far as EA is concerned, no more patches, anti-cheat code, or other fixes will be created. 1.04 is the final version.:(
If only EA were like Blizzard. They STILL release patches for Starcraft which came out four years BEFORE C&C Generals.:flame:
What's funny is that when BF1942 got overrun with hacks, EA put in PunkBuster code to deal with cheaters. I'm not sure why EA pays more attention to some games. I still see Generals for sale in the stores -- I'd figure they want to at least fix some of the major bugs and hacks.

And iirc, EA was considering making the 1.05c patch official, mainly because it fixes the scud bug. Not sure what's been happening as of late though.

It's okay bumping up 1 & 1/2 month old thread. But no body should bump over 3 month old once.
It was sad, this morning, I was playing Tournament Island when my buddy shows me with a beacon that there was a worker building a tunnel network in my base! Usally I notice that, & if I was looking at the opening, I would've definetly nocticed it. Anyway, between the attacks of that guys & his ally, I was forced out of my base & into my allys. After awhile it seemed that we were about to take my base back! But then one of the enemies built a scud storm & used the bug :mad: Oh well, it's just a game & it happens rarely.
As I said before, the best thing to do is just leave when that happens, & that's what I did.

If it's a new member, then there's a little bit of lee-way, but this guy's been around for at least 3 months now iirc, I fail to see why he has to post now.

i think i played him yesterday. i remember that name. but i don't think he did anything funny. i don't even think he was using gla.
i think it was a china inf mirror. he chose inf, i went random and got a inf. he turtled the entire game and i had to inferno cannon him to death

Infernos are just lovely... Not that common to use but very amusing when it comes to...:rolleyes: Post the rep in the reps thread, just to see the "burn baby burn".

i didn't save the replay anyway. plus its not a even gg. he pretty much build bunker on all flank and center. my first dragon tank try to clean his flank bunker was close, but failed. so i eventually have to bring in the heavy artillery.

i dont think ea will or ever did give a **** about people that cheats on zh or ger. Ive been auto scudet or seen that players used money hax many times:looklive:
all you have too do is suck it up and live on, i usualy call them a bunch of fags and leave the game:angel: it is my way too handle it...:)
