i got some quick questions which i couldnt figure out by myself yet, but i think that most likely they can be answered positively.. thx in advance.

1.)
is there a way to recharge a scrin unit's forcefield (other than leveling up the veterancy) ? :chin:

2.)
ive read a thread about the scrin corrupter being able to "heal" fellow units with force attack on them. that doesnt work for me, although the corruptor "fires" at the desired unit, there's no healing effect. what's wrong? :tantrum:

3.)
a friend told me he read about a scrin unit thats able to kinda "absorb" tiberium (i'm not talking about the harvester ;^þ ) which makes it possible to damage enemy tiberium.
he forgot about the units name, maybe the corruptor? .. err... i think it's quite senseless that there's such a unit, but i thought ill give it a try here since u guys should know if there's sth to it!
- i tried the motherships catalyst cannon on tib fields and it works quite well, but in the end its still just a waste of time i think..

4.)
in some LAN games me and my friends played some 4on4 actions with 10minutes no rush (which is crap imo). since both these 8pl - maps are full of tiberium, it's hard to crack enemy lines if theyre quick players to build up their defenses n stuff.
the exact problem was that two of the opposite players spammed Venom's with laser upgrade. after 10minutes there were like +200 venoms on the map.
i tried to counter that mess with the "civilian" EMP cannon :moonie: (which works quite well since all air units instantly blow up in its affected range) but there were still like 3/4 of all venoms. all 10 minutes i was busy grav-selling with 3 cranes, but the (upgraded) shock troopers did not stand a chance.

short story: is there a specific counter-unit to the venom in masses (building time/cost/effect)?

1: the forcefield recharges automatically after some time

2: you can indeed heal your own forces with I think those vehicles... Never tried it yet though

3: all tib can be blown to shreds by any fire. plant a nuke on a tib field and the field is gone. resonator towers do great work @ destroying tib as well, but if you select one tib crystal you can see a healthbar. Fire @ it and the health will decrease and it will be destroyed.
O yeah and by abosorbing tib, the gun will fire HARDER, (more power) in the next couple 'shots

4: counter venom with scrin?

there is one nice little vehicle that can fire the same "rounds" as a normal AA gun does. Those vehicles are effective

maybe derek can elaborate some more?

1. Yes. Send that dude to the rear of your force and wait.

2. I don't know why it wouldn't work... it does for me.

3. The Devourer Tank can use their conversion beam by charging it in a Tiberium field. This beam is more powerful than the railgun pred's weapon, but is depleated after 3 shots.

4. If he's making a whole lot, you'd be best off with a few seekers. One for every 5-6 venoms should knock them out easily. Oh, and try massed plasmadisk shocktroopers, they're infantry, but they're still scary good against anything airborne.

Its 10 shots.

One seeker to every 5-6 Venoms will get raped. You need close to 1:2 if hes got the laser upgrade (don't worry though, its still very cost effective). Don't go shock troopers though, they do have a good AA attack but they die way too fast to Venoms. Stormriders also work well if you can keep him under a 1:2 ratio, just micro them like you would a vee in ZH.
