Does anybody know how to get the Rickshaw or Motorscooter to work?
I'm making a Vietnam map and it would really add to it to have them patrolling about.

I've never heard of a "Rickshaw" or "Motorscooter" units in the world builder, & what does your title "mislead moped" have to do with this thread? Are you sure you started this thread in the right forum? This forum is for the Command & Conquer Generals (or Zero Hour) Map Editing.

They are objects in the World Builder. He's probably making a Map. You have to name the objects, and make waypoints where you want them to go. Then under scripts>unit>move you can make them follow waypoints.

I tried that first, but when I play the map they just sit there (the guy isn't on the motorscooter, he's next to it like you see in the WB).
They are located under Objects Civillian/Vehicle.

Ah, I found the "Scooter" object. I made a simple script for it & it worked fine. Except the guy would just stand infront of the scooter, both moving as if they're just one object. EA game never finished this object. I guess becuase they never used it in any of the maps they made.

If you can't even get it moving, then you need to upload the map so we can look at it. There's a lot of reasons why it may not be working.

I haven't had much time to mess with it the past day or so. I'll try a few different scripts to see what I might be able to do. If I don't come up with anything usable I'll post it. Thanks.

I've got them patrolling and at the right speed, but there's no way to use Them with the riders "floating" next to them. That's O.K. i'll use something else.
Thanks for the help, and if you're interested in my map It should be done within a week or two (I don't have a good name for it yet).

EA game never finished this object. Zero Hour was rushed, imo. There's a lot of stuff in the game that isnt finished, such as the US Secret Service agent, the Guardian and Repair drones, and the Chinese Secret Agent.

Agreed. It could've been so much better. Especially if worldbuilder worked properly.

Yeah. WB is soooo fragile, mine won't even run if I have anything else open, I get this ****ing runtime error if I do:flame:

Mine just decides every now and then that it wants to stop working and I have to reinstall the entire game.:(:mad::cry::flame::ashamed::rant::squint::tantrum:
