It's really weird, when I try to play Generals Online on our wireless network, a window will come up at different times saying "Lost connection to C&C Generals Zero Hour Online". I can log onto it but after awhile, that window will come up. But I can manage to start playing a game & it'll run with no intereptions.

Most of the time I can start a game in a Quick Match, I rareley am able to play Costum Matches.

If I do manege to get into a room, then after another player comes into the room, it kicks me off with that window. I am able to log right back on after that, but the same thing happens.

When I hook directly up to our DSL line, then I can play without getting kicked off. But when I'm connected throught the wirless network, it kicks me off. The same thing happens on another computer so I know it's the network

Anyone know what I can do to make it work throught the wirless network?

Your best bet would be to reinstall the game and uninstall all mods and such. It sounds like something in the programming went bad, and if reinstalling after you've uninstalled all mods & such (which now that I think about it would cause you to be unable to play online...) and you have deleted all the Zero Hour files in that one folder (sorry, can't name the folder or location off hand, I rarely mod, but your custom maps are in there. ), then you may want to reinstall using someone else's CD. If this was illegible, please tell me. I'm tired.

I've uninstalled both Zero Hour & Generals, deleted the game directories, & reinstalled them ceveral times after getting the game. I don't have any patches installed & the same thing happens on Generals Online. I've tried playing online on another computer over the wirless network & the same thing happened on that computer as well. I've tried hooking up a cable to the one of the wirless networks outputs & the same thing happens. So I know it's something on the network. A fire wall or something, but I don't know how to deactave it.

What you need to do is configure your routers firewall to allow the game to play correctly. Did your router come with a utility program? If not then somebody else would have to tell you the IP to get into your routers security. i can't remember it right now, but If I do I'll tell you.

I got in the Wirless Network's socurity. I've uploaded some screen shots of the Firewall & the VPN (whatever that is. I have it there because it was under Socurity with the Firewall window.) I've also uploaded the help files for the Firewall & VPN in a Word document. If any one could tell me how to configure this stuff correctly, let me know.
