It would be pressuring us to pay. If you want to give money, it's out of charity, not for personal gain.

I'm a poor student, the last thing I can do is give what little money I have away! Luckily for me, the Den is and always has been a non-profit service!

There's a paypal donation button on the CNCDEN main page. Some peeps in the past have donated funds towards the cost of operating the DEN Network, but I do NOT solicit for money. I was asked several years ago to make a way for visitors who wanted to donate, so I put up the donate button. The DEN's have and will always remain free, and I don't want your money.

Having said that, any money that is donated goes towards operating expenses such as licensing fees for these forums, programs and scripts used for the DEN websites, and of course the yearly domain fees.

Lion may I ask where you get your hosting and how much you pay for the host? (If at all). Not trying to be nosey, just might have a good opporotunity for you on a new host that I'm working for.

Seriously, no one that has donated to the DEN Network has received any 'reward' from me nor any promises of such, other than a personal thank you letter.

And Doh004, I have a sponsor who hosts my websites in return for me flying banners (advertising) on the site. And it's not Bad_i_Bill. I heard rumors going around that was the reason he was made a moderator. NO truth to that whatsoever. He does have a hosting service, but that has nothing to do with the DEN Games Network. Mile33 Studios is my current host, and one that I'm satisfied with.
