What happens if you get more than 10 red squares?

I know this isn't that important of a question, but...what does happen? (It's possible that a member would be banned before he got 11 red squares, but chaos commander has 9 and he hasn't been banned yet).

EDIT: As a sidenote, I have one red square in my reputation bar (or whatever people call it) and when I mouse over it it says "Tesla has some shameless behaviour in the past." but I still have 7 reputation power. Why is this?

You won't get banned with too many red gems just as you wouldn't be made a moderator simply because you hit fifteen green and gold gems. If you gained the hatred of the entire forum, but still did not break the rules, the mods have no reason to ban you even if it would appease the entire forum.

As for reputation power, it's slightly disjointed from your reputation as a whole. The number of posts and how long you've been here both factor into your reputation power. It would take, say, Derek, a much longer time to lose all his rep power even with red gems precisely because of the volume of posts and the long time he's been here than a member who just joined, posted a few times, and was negrepped several times. Reputation points do factor into determining your reputation power, but it is only one of several factors.
