View Full Version : Problem patching Yuri's Revenge - Expandmd01 file always corrupt

For some reason whenever I patch my copy of Yuri's Revenge, the expandmd01.mix file appears to not be extracted properly from the patch for the size is 0 bytes. Because of this, I get an error message saying that the expandmd01.mix file is corrupt especially when I try to play Yuri's Revenge with mods.
I even tried patching it manually, and from Westwood online server, but still no luck.
What could be the problem here?
If possible, could someone (who has a patched copy of Yuri's Revenge) be kind enough to upload the proper expandmd01.mix file for me? Thanks.

Sorry, we can't help you when you have an illegal copy. I suggest buying the game from ebay, amazon or you could also buy The First Decade, if they happen to have that in the game shops near you.

That is what happens when you pirate games. Somehow, you get ****ed over more than it's worth to avoid dropping a few coins for a game. Besides, most PC games these days are dirt cheap (I got RA3, The ENTIRE DoW series, and Caesar IV, ALL for 80 U.S.D. That could buy like 1 and a half of an Xbox or similar game.).
And if you get the first decade, you get lots of games for real cheap.

Yeh, it's like 12 games for what 10 euros (in the USA probably for 10 bucks).

Probably 20 USD or something like that. The value of USD on the world market has plummeted lately...
