Hey I wanna change a sniper into a bush when he stands still like a mirage tank... but!! check this..
CanDisguise=yes
CanApproachTarget=no
DisguiseWhenStill=yes
I've put this in sniper and im looking for the codes to change the tree's into bushes but it's way up
; SJM: Default disguise for the Mirage Tank (object type)
DefaultMirageDisguises=TREE01,TREE02,TREE03,TREE04 ; Must be a Terrain Type object (a tree or box; NOT a rock)
but now I don't think I can just change defaultmiragedisguises into defaultsniperdisguises do I? How I'm gonna figure this out?
Ps: Didn't look yet what kind of bushes to use because I wanna know first if it's possible ;)

I don't know if these work on infantry. This disguise logic is entirely different from infantry disguise logic. I'd first try using [TankMakeupKit], or whatever the name is, on your Sniper to see if infantry can even take terrain images like tanks. Also be sure to modify the tank disguise weapon's warhead; you have to set all of the verses to zero.

And if you don't understand that here is a tutorial on how to do it :)

Hope this helps Although this is the Mirage Tutorial Just try and apply this to the Sniper like Fenring Said.

the weapon is called VehicleSnapshot(i think) but it works like a spy kit, not like a mirage, so you CANNOT make it disguise as a terrain effect using this with your infantry. You will have to make it disguise it the same way mirage tanks do, because they have a section in the General section specifying what mirage tanks can disguise as.

It's [TankMakeupKit] as the weapon and the warhead is [TankSnapshot]. It's simply a TerrainFire weapon, allowing it to fire on terrain as if it were an attackable object. However, it may not work no matter what since the Mirage Tank is a voxel... I'm not sure if SHPs can change in the same manner.

The way the logic work, locomotors, among other things.

Locomotors are the main hang-up, as with the plane "fly" locomotor it prohibits planes from targeting planes....you can give the plane the hover Locomotor (used on robot tanks)..and it will target other planes, however the "plane" itself self destructs as soon as it takes off.....

also, the TankMakeupKit works like a spy makeupkit, so it would be like a walking tree, not like a mirage does, where it stops and then becomes a tree.
I like the idea though, you should try to add this idea to generals, it would be alot more realsitic then having pathfinders become invisible entirely.Locomotors are the main hang-up, as with the plane "fly" locomotor it prohibits planes from targeting planes....you can give the plane the hover Locomotor (used on robot tanks)..and it will target other planes, however the "plane" itself self destructs as soon as it takes off.....
Give the planes jumpjet abilities and they target aircraft normally. The only weird thing is that they don't land on helipads (although i haven't tested this) and they are built from the war factory. besides, not too long ago someone made it so normal planes could shoot eachother in the air and he gave us a screenshot showing that it worked.

I'm talking AI...the locomotor prohibits the AI from firing on another plane...If you give it the locomotor used on hover vehicles the AI will target planes, but the plane itself self destructs soon as it tries to take-off.
I only play against the AI.....just a pain in the neck trying to shape and mold one...

oh, lol then i don't know... you really don't need to target planes anyway unless you are making a mod where planes can attack air targets... you can still give it jumpjet capabilities and it will be fine, i have tested and proved this in several mods of mine.
