In Cnc generals, if you press Control+F, your units will walk on the same speed, and in Cnc 3??? What do you have to press??
(If there is no way, this is a good idea for modding!!!:))

That is how you get them to move at same place in a formation that you aren't able to modify
When you tell them to move into a formation they all move at the speed of the slowest unit selected.

What is the point of that? Let them move into formation as they get scrapped?
Thats probably not what he had in mind!!!
If they're getting scrapped and there's no hope for the units you don't want them all going at the slowest pace, you want to get as many of them out of there asap and back to the war factory for repairs.

I meant if he formation moved over where the enemy is, if they distracted him it might be a problem, don't you think?
I don't get what you mean. Anybody can get distracted, that's why radar jams and decoy armies are useful.

Radar jams usually get people more alert, but its harder to find where they might attack on a bigger map space bar helps that, decoy armies are really good if they come in first, most people aren't on guard for that, but there must be some other way to make all units go at same pace without formation which if for formation basically
I still don't see what's wrong with formation move, it works fine for me in every scenario I need it to.

It always depends, I don't really see why you need formation move, formations are never how I want them (blast it, infantry in the back, good for rocket men, bad for zone troops)
Have to do them seperately
