How do I get one of those "dead" "busy" "in love" banner things? I looked all over my CP and couldn't find a menu for it.

Under your avatar preview, either in the header of the MODDEN Schemes, or the navbar of the RADEN, CNCDEN or PETRODEN Schemes.

I think you're childish. Two smilies in one post? What manner of shenanigans is this?!

Corsarus

I think this is a bad idea due to the fact that emotions are to much of a temporary thing to be posted as a permanent thing like a mood icon. I am aware that this can be changed whenever the user wants, but the worrisome thing is what is happening between uses, not what is happening during them.

I think it is good that nuc posted a thread about it so that now all the people who are wondering how to put it here can find out since there has been no official thread about it... that I've seen, could be wrong though.

I think that a better idea would be to let people pick a smilie for their emotion banner and then let them write whatever mood they want under it.

Example. (I don't know why but someone might find the explanation above unintelligible.)

There should be a menu in the C P for it, just to make things easier for everybody who is searching for it. That is the first place that everyone will look so it's easier that way.

the reason that there aren't specific ones like that probably has something to do with the fact that moo didn't want it to be a smaller copy of the avatar, this would ruin the whole "mood" idea because everyone would pick whichever suited their permanent aura and not their current mood... or maybe he's busy doing all the other stuff he does all day. I dunno, it was just a theory.

I see how it could have been intended as that.

But what I meant was the image should not be specific, only on of the official smilies. Though the "mood" itself would be another case. This would allow users a certain amount of freedom in selection of their mood but it would, at the same time, prevent them from having a copy of their avatar under their name.

If I'm missing something here...:|

Once I had a banner in my room that said "Toronto Maple Leafs" but then somehow it disappeared and I don't have it anymore and now I'm kinda unhappy cuz my walls are all bare and don't have banners and I get sorta dizzy looking at them I need more banners I think.

I have many fine things adorning my walls. Why here is Mr. Albert Einstein, watching me do my homework. And over there a section of the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Truly inspiring.

Perhaps I can find one of these 257 mood options that suits me just right?

Serenla
06-23-2007, 11:25 PM
I hope your Sistine Chapel is placed appropriately on the ceiling. As for Einstein, he was quite the witty old chap! I cannot say as I have a sicnetist of his like decorating my abode, but I do have Yoda! The greatets Jedi of all time!

P.S. Moods are like chocolates. Some of them have cream fillngs.

Toxic10x
06-23-2007, 11:28 PM
Actually, the chapel pic is on the wall... but it damn well should be on the ceiling! And by gum I do have yoda as well! He stares on wisely at us as we play videogames.

Hmm... cream filling you say? I'll keep routing around for that

Serenla

Is your Yoda composed of lots of little pictures of Star Wars too? If so, I salute you sir! I also have mounted several boxes of cereal, the little mini ones that you get in 12 packs. You get "Variety Packs" or "Fun Packs" and they're delectable to eat, as well as beautiful wall ornaments. You should look into them.

Regarding moods, I'm not entirely certain that 'confused' works for you good sir, but whatever milks your guernsey!

Toxic10x
06-23-2007, 11:38 PM
Alas, my Yoda is a screenshot of the films. He's standing on some leaves at his home in lovely Dagobah.

Also, regarding the cereal boxes, I admire your bold decorative taste! We have a poster I made for a movie about two ninjas, locked in mortal combat. We also have a drawing I did of our inflatable tyranosaurus. His name is Kyle.

And while I agree "confused" is not quite right, I was disappointed to find "confuzzled" not an option. Perhaps the divine bovine will add it to the list?

Yarr! Ninjas! I approve greatly! T-Rex is just like icing on a cake...made of AWESOMENESS. The only thing possibly cooler would be ninjas riding dinosaurs. Then they could have awesome prehistoric ninja battles and stuff. It'd kickass.

I can't believe scientists don't talk more about the prehistoric dinosaur laser battles. I watch the discovery channel all day hoping, but it's always just "homG I caught an CraB!"

kyle was more of the friendly dopey dinosaur type though. He was done-in by a guy who became a bit too aggressive with a yard stick o.o

Speaking of the awesomeness of dinosaurs, have you notice how cool power rangers have become since we were kids?

It's like she's got some kind of Power Ranger skirt going on and I like it. I feel like watching this show again.

And since you mentioned dopeyness...

We need to put the fear of god in 'em!

You may find this odd, but Power Rangers: Dino Thunder was one of the best I've ever seen in the entire series, I s*** you not. The acting was good, the battles and monsters were badass (think Goldar and Lord Zed, only 24/7), several of the original actors from the series' very beginning actually came back for a while, and best of all, the mechas were sweet! I actually managed to watch a few episodes and not get cheesed out!

Too bad it only lasted for two seasons (WHY THE HELL DID THEY CANCEL IT!?!)
