Trying to Improve myself

I have recently started to play RA2, and am enjoing it immensely

At the moment I am playing an illegal version (Don't ban me, kind moderators, a legit copy is in the post) so I cannot play online.

The thing is, I can't tell if i'm any good. I can consistently beat 2 Brutal enemies, usually as Iraq or America (though I can't see what all the fuss about Iraq is for). - And once, by simply defending and attacking with Paradrops, I beat 3 brutals.

How many can you guys beat? Am I a n00b?

No matter how many brutals you can beat, even if it was 7 brutals within 10 minutes, you still cannot prepare for online play by playing against the computer - it is an entirely different ball game. When you play online first, expect to be beaten a lot, because you will if your opponents know what their doing. But stick at it and stay willing to learn new tricks and you'll get the hang of it soon enough mate.

i recommend if your not able to play online... try building vs one brutal and make sure u can keep building tanks but dont run out of money.

that way youll have somewhat of eco control when u get online

Beating 2 brutal AIs... that's cool!

In offline play, the most I have been able to fend off on my own is 4 brutals, and only occassionaly. What makes it so difficult to win against more than one brutal who are all allied with each other is the superweapons. If you play well, capture plenty of oil derricks early and get really good defences, you can hold off tank rushes and other tricks from more than one player. But superweapons are unavoidable no matter how well placed your defence is. You only have one nuke and iron curtain to bash em with, but there are 3 nukes pointing against you, then it gets tough. If you survive or destroy one set of SW's chances are you won't do the others in before they blow your base to smithereens.

Keep at it. You are a good player if you can hold off 2 brutals consistently, though real skill comes from practice. Be willing to explore new tactics and ways of doing things.

Beating Computers (Brutals) are just playing long time with em... yes u get skill but there is a question how do u beat him or em ?

Before 2 years when i played RA2 i have beat 7 brutals (Random all) so was a bit hard... but i got em ....
Im trying now to play online but damn dont know how to connect on internet to play with other people. I'm sure would be really nice to play with me some Pro player xD

btw,i have played before that 2 years one tournament in my town and i took 1st place :D QQ
