Lately, many members were complaining about random error messages and things not working. Everything should be working okay now. The problem lied in the technology our new server has, and we just needed to tweak a few things. Let me know if anyone's still encountering any weirdness. :)

Being the motley bunch that we are, I'm sure we'll all let you know if anything happens :p
I certainly appreciate the effort into this though! Must be like a fulltime job sometimes.

Yeah, it's not a time zone deal either, because it's 20 minutes off.
Nice grammar correction, Wesforce, I'd +rep you for it if I could.

The time zone issue has nothing to do with this. The forum just reads the server time and calculates the offset you select, so if the server time is wrong then all your times will be too. Nothing I can do on my end, but but this isn't the first time we've had this issue. A couple server's in the past have had this problem too.

well, despite the slightly off timer, we all appreciate the effort you guys make to make this place a better place for us all, And i think that's all that matters. (unless you really screw up the server, then you are gonna be hearing from some pissed off people!:p:lol:)

That's fine Moo, just remember: Accuracy of grammar reflects accuracy of thought ;)
Thanks Stat. I'd +Rep you for wanting to +Rep me if I could :happysad:

I recently found one small thing: the Code tag isn't working; it's not showing spaces the way it should.
Example:
This text right here should be indented two spaces, but it's not, it just moves everything to the left margnin.

another situation is up.. the clock changes affect the post order like what happened in chuckies trivia thread with one of my post, in short, like this: 1,2,3,4,5 that would be the normal posting order, though with random clock changes when we are making our post it sometimes ends up like this... 1,2,3,5,4 in logical order, especially if one is quoting another.
darn... is someone hacking to some atomic clocks or something? :p

I thought it was more like 4, 2, 6, 98, 1, 6 judging from the thing's I've seen in some threads. :gnarly:

Database error
The database has encountered a problem.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please try the following:
Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
Open the forums.cncden.com home page, then try to open another page.
Click the Back button to try another link.
The forums.cncden.com forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
This message randomly appears and disappears off and on. I get a similar message sometimes when I'm trying to access DGNF/Raden/Den just like a random error that blocks me from getting to the page. Not sure if they're related or not though.

Database error
ZOMG that message is so irritating! It pops up almost every other time I click on a link. :irked: I'm talking about both the full page ones and also these (http://forums.cncden.com/showthread.php?t=21408).

Im getting this error on pretty much every other page too. Its starting to get really annoying. Refreshing the page does get rid of it but then 2 pages later and its back again

No kidding. Sometimes you have to re-refresh because the first refresh takes you to another database error. I'm re-typing this post because the first time I clicked "submit reply" and got the error. Clicking refresh doesn't solve the problem either, it just deals with the symptom.
We're working on getting it sorted.

well, when posting it should work as long as it doesn't bring u to another one... did it a while ago, but still, its annoyinghow frequently I click on something, back out, try again, have to back out even further, then try.....

I'm still having having issues. I don't know what is is but I keep getting this box in the middle after I've typed for a while that says database error i keep getting database error's. One even causesd me to lose a post I was typing for like 30 minutes. One just posed up now. I think if I stay on the same page for like 1-2 minutes it pops up. I'll take a screen shot. It also signs me out. I'll have to sign back in just to post this. I have to copy, click post and then sign back in, it'll go back to the thing, I have to paste and then it'll work. cI'm still having having issues. No, I shrank it so i didn't end up posting the entire 1280x1024 image. It is however, more than enough to see that all the links have turned red.

That's happened to me also, but they turned normal again after a few seconds.
You'll just have to keep using the refresh button till my host fixes the problem. It is MySql server side and not the forum scripting itself. Nothing we can do about it on our end of things.
I have contacted my host. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
