Renegade online help

I need some help with renegades online service. I started playing the game a month ago and recently decided to take it out on a spin on westwood online. I didnt have and account. I went to online multiplay, then clicked on westwood online, it then told me to either sign in with an account or create one.Since I dont have an account I clicked on the option to create one, after doing so, a "loading" message appeared for a few seconds and then a message appeared thusly: "Page cannot load or is invalid". I tried again and again, even after downloading the patch but it still doesnt work.

I tried it on gamespy, but they dont host the game anymore.

Any help on this topic would be great because I really want to be a part of the renegade onine community, thanks in advance.

Online registration hasn't worked for quite some time. There is a way around it, but I don't know what it is.

Just type in a name and password. If it isn't taken yet, it'll create it for you. If it IS taken, it'll just tell you that the password is wrong.

i can't even do that. i used to have a renegade account, and whenever i reinstall renegade, at the end of the installation, they will always prompt me to enter my renegade account or creat new ones, now they don't do that anymore, and i just can't find a way to play renegade on westwood online anymore.:cry:

In my game, it will take me to the account screen, but then when I enter info, it says "Page failed to load or is invalid."

All you have to do is (from Renegade main menu): click online multiplay, then westwood online, then advanced game list and then type a username and password of your choice. If someone has that nickname it will tell you the password is invalid.

Hey thanks, WOL doesn't work, but I tried gamespy and it worked fine, my first online CNC renegade was just two days ago, pretty addictive, although I do get blown up quite a bit.
