hi,

i was working on a map last night, saved, quit and tried to reload it to continue my work... unfortunately, that wasnt gonna happen.
i've been presented with a "Fatal error" message; im sure a few of you know the screen.

the data given to me in the message was Last succeeded operation :12, Last library operation 2101, and that the fault was caused by an "EXTERNAL_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at the 'address' 4785af , then it says "Write access to 0x644621a"

The reason i'm drowning you in bits of code is that i'm assuming i can open up the map in notepad and fix the faulty line.... right?

any help would be appreciated.

What makes you think you can fix a program access violation by opening the map in Notepad? :rockbrow:

What makes you think you can fix a program access violation by opening the map in Notepad? :rockbrow:

in theory, by reverting the erroneous aspect to its previous or in general a workable form

That's a FinalAlert2 error, not a map problem.

it is indeed; but its a problem on FA2's behalf when it comes to interpreting the erroneous map, as its only this map in particular.

Did you make it or did you find it somewhere?
