I've been mapping for years now and have never really devoted the time to figure out how to use the map.ini file. How do you use it to edit specific modules? Whenever I try to replicate someone else's work, the map crashes. For instance, in the new movie map that I'm making (should be done pretty soon:D) I'd like to change the speed of a technical to the same speed as a humvee. I know how to do this , just not with the map.ini file. Please help.

Hmm for some reason, I've never seen this post.
How I figured out how to work INI files, is by looking at what others have created & looking at the INI files used in the official maps. But It's rather easy to swith the locomotors for a unit. This INI file I just created will do what you requested.
Object GLAVehicleTechnical
--Locomotor = SET_NORMAL HumveeLocomotor
End
The dashes represent spaces. Cncden pushes all the words to the left, dispite users putting spaces between them. So if you use this INI file, change the dashes to spaces & it should work fine.

I'll try that.
