Where is this saved?

Hi, I played CnC3 for many times and I found one thing interesting. If you've managed defeated a computer at easy difficulty on a map, the map is marked with a bronze star and will be shown next time you select this map, and silver for normal, gold for hard, lightning for brutal.

what i want to ask is, where is this information saved? On the mapfile itself or in the profile on my computer's 'documents and settings' folder? Or even in the registry? Can I edit that value myself without having the battle?

Even if I knew how to change it...
I don't think it would make much difference...
You would not get any medals for doing so, and it seems to be like u don't want a challenge, which brutal Ai will bring...

I don't know foreshore but I think it might be saved to the map.

to make himself feel better. But I disagree, If I'm not mistaked in Generals it was saved to the profile. because if you think about it saving it to a map makes little sense at all. If you where to make your own map, play it, then publish it, then the scores wouldn't go to. (I'm assuming)

You make a very very good point.
That totally changed my opinion.
I guess it would be saved to the profile cause if you have it on xbox360
there are multiple profiles and if it was saved on the map it would change it on both profiles.

I don't mean I want to change it. I just want to know how :P
There is only four files in my profile and I don't sure what they are, they are as follows:

GDI Campaign Autosave - it is not...

pa - that is a save file when i play GDI Campaign...

3 superweapon - a save file when i play skirimish(I got the 3 superweapons full charge and can throw them to a huge, crowded gdi base with full of structures and units of every kind!!HOHOHO~~!)

map_mp_4_black6.map - a new map file? I cannot remember...

I did some digging around, and I think it's here.

1. Go to your application data folder Many of these folders are hidden, so to get there quickly go to run, and enter "%appdata%". Remember! THIS IS NOT THE FOLDER IN YOUR PROGRAM FILES OR IN MY DOCUMENTS.

2. Go to Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars.

3. Go to Profiles and to the one you're using.

4. There'll be a lot of .ini files. I believe what you are looking for is under "stats_skirmish_game".

I believe that contains what you are looking for. I can't make sense of it, but it is there, since it seems to have all the maps you played with a numeric value next to it. Maybe it's one of the other files, maybe it isn't any of them. But that's my guess.

Yes I found them, but I can do nothing without knowing what those numbers exactly mean...

I think I can surly count it out when I compare this .ini file that you mentioned above between before a battle and after, but it's too faint to do so...

When I defeat a GDI brutal, there is a teal(I think that color is teal~~) lightning medal marked. And when I defeat a Nod brutal in the same map, that mark turns to a red lightning... What does that exactly mean??

Well, maybe it just represents which side you defeated. Just a thought.
