CnC Zombies
Would like to make a CnC zombies mod. Curios about feasibility of some options.
- Slow down player movement (for zombies)
-Make it so players killed by zombies reanimate after period of time
-limit ammo
-make constructable fences and boundaries
-have random amounts of spawning zombies
-have different resources and building costs. such as items taking lumbar and steel and a generator power ti build?
well that can be for now just to get me started
Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Oh, you did go ahead & post it hear. Well, I'll just quote what I said in "Generals | Zero Hour"
"This modified version of Zero Hour that you want to do is pretty complicated. I'd reccamend trying to modify unit veriables first, such as, switch weapon & modifing build time, prerequisites, build cost, stuff like that. Then move onto harder modifing & study some modified versions other players have made."

give me a sec to find that out (got to boost my memory), but i love the idea and been hoping for someone to do something like it. You have my full support, but unfortunly i can't do much so im pretty much useless (would have done it myself if i could)
I think it's in the locomoter's, i might actually be able to give you a good slow one, maybe.
edit: yep it's the locomoters. Just copy the basic human, change the name and the speed to what you want and then change the unit's locomotor in it's engineering parameters. I believe that's all you have to do.
just a thought, the suicide bomber in restore justice (lastest version) has a decent movement for what you are looking for, if you could get the permission to use it and just reskin that model you would have something. im afraid it doesn't have an attack animation though (it's a suicide bomber, what do you expect)
As for the, have zombies spawn in random amounts on maps. The only way i see that working would probably have to be set amount's scripted on custom maps (just get permission if you can't make them yourself or get someone to make them for you {or if it would delay how long it takes for this to come out}) that you could include with it.

never seen anything like this done, only ever seen it in army men toy's in space (for an rts) which unfortunly the ablity stoped there (which is too bad, i still enjoy it now)

i pretty sure this can be done, refer to restore to justice (why did it have to stop unfinished)
the helicopters for the coalition have limited rockets, the apache under attack helicopter is the main one though

very possible and not too hard as long as you use ea's, you can make your own, then it just takes some modeling skill, only problem is it's not the easiest thing to set up fenceing (ea's anyway), If you use ea's then i would look into some way to make it a bit longer and easier to put together while still looking nice

Thanks I got the speed working... I'm starting the skinning right now but its not as easy as I would have thought...
