Problem playing YR online in T1D

RA2 can get online just fine, but in YR when I try to join someone's game it locks up. It gets to a blank join screen with no players or map or text box and just sits there. I can host a game on my own but there is about a 90% chance it won't connect to players. It's not a f/w problem, I told my f/w to let the game through, and then after that didn't work I turned it entirely off, still no help.

Strange problem. What's your comp specs ? It might be you get a computer which is not designed for older games like YR.
If it's not that, I don't know it either. Try to reinstall. If that doesn't work, post a message at the help forum at xwis.

If it plays RA2, it's not the computer having issues with old games. Sometimes YR can be screwy and I had something similar happen on my Dell a while ago. I had to wipe RA2 and YR, and reinstall them to fix it. Make sure, after removing the games, that you SHUT DOWN your machine; restarting will not work.

What? I didn't play you and my YR still doesn't work. But thanks for bumping this thread - I hadn't seen Fenring's reply yet and I probably never would have.

this happened to me and infacts happens to alot of people for no reason. my advice is to buy the actual game. it has somethign to do with TFD

cuz unfortunately there isnt a solution at this time :(

Yeh I found that out too, though he happened to say he was stat. weird guy:nuts:.
