Troubles in Network...

So we have to comps capable of playing cnc3, one regular edition, and one Kane... Now at first they work fine by wireless connection, then at one point that I don't know where my kane edition manual is I uninstall the kane edition, thinking it had problems, and realized that when I tried to reinstall it, I didn't have the code I used for it in the beginning...
So I used the original editions code, and it worked, surprising me, but when we first tried to play multiplayer network, it gave a message that the serial was already being used...
So I found the kane editions manual, checked both manuals, made sure I was using the right manual, and reinstalled the kane edition with the kane edition code... but the message still comes up, do u know what the problem might be?

If the problem persists then uninstall both editions making sure that all registry entries are erased by using "regedit", then reinstall.

A single code cannot be registered twice on the same network, you have to have two different codes.

We ended up unistalling both pcs and putting in the correct codes again, and it worked, don't know why it wouldn't when I corrected the kane edition earlier...
