I'm not exactly sure why, but for some reason, someone neg-repped me for a random post, simply putting "cocksucker". I'm not sure what exactly I did wrong, but I'm asking if an admin can remove it, since I feel it's an inappropriate action.

I don't really care, but I just want to know if that's an ok reason to negatively rep someone like that.

With someone like that you should publically name and shame them.

Nah, I think it's best that the culprit stay annonymous, lest he be harrased by the other veteran members endlessly for that one moment.

I agree, last I want to be the cause of a flame war between the parties involved and those who want to jump on the bandwagon ;)

Maybe people would consider such consequences before they gave stupid rep to lower ranked, newer members.

Before anyone else points it out, i know that i myself used to give neg rep to lower ranked members when they posted things i considered stupid, but i do not do that anymore.. im sure the staff can verify, i have outgrown the reputation system.
