i want to have the missle defender to have 2 types of roeckets normal, and an explosive rocket. i now how to make the buttons to swithc weapons and stuff. but i wanna know if its possible to make the xplosive rocket like this:
when fired, the missle hits like 5% of the time, sorta like an ecm but more efective then and only when it hits the TARGET not the ground next to it but hits the target and alpha aurora blast occurs. i just wanna know if this is even possible, and if so, how can i?

(1) look at the coding of the ranger, and how he switches between his rifle and flashbangs
(2) you might be able to give other units a sort of paladin laser, but do it through a different weapon so you can take away it's sound and your ability to see it fire, then fiqure out a way to specialize your expolsive rocket so it will only attack it (kinda like how burton won't attack vehicles with his knife, although i know this is a little different, but i think melee won't attack vehicles no matter what at first, i can't remember and i just specialy configured and tested it a week ago) then you will have to work out the reload time for both so that it works out, unfortunaly this means that it will work the same every time now that i think about it.
just try to give the units a never ending countermeasures that you cannot see and specialize it so the expolive weapon is a special weapon type so you can specialize what the countermeasures actually counter. No idea if this would work out but you can give it a shot

I don't know about 5%, but you can use a scatter radius (found under the rocketbuggy weapon coding) and make it so the weapon will land somewhere within "X" radius, and give it no damage radius, so it only damages what it hits directly. However, getting it to explode only if it hits a target is another story. If it is possible, it will be very complex, because I don't think any other weapon does that.
