Need some info on this

Hey guys, I just started playing CNC 3 again, after a very long hiatus, and I heard people talking about base rushing as well as creeping. Does anyone know what these mean?

If these are cheats/hacks please don't tell me, i am not a cheater, never was and i never will be.

Hey guys, I just started playing CNC 3 again, after a very long hiatus, and I heard people talking about base rushing as well as creeping. Does anyone know what these mean? If I recall correctly, "Creeping" would refer to building your base toward a prime piece of real estate that you hope to claim. "Base Rushing," is when you "Creep" toward the enemy base and use your base defenses to attack the enemy base.

This strategy dates back to the original Command & Conquer, as noted in Chapter 4 of TechnoMac's Command and Conquer Strategy Guide and Tactics page (http://obelisk.planetcnc.gamespy.com/text/cnctactics.txt), found on The Obelisk (http://obelisk.planetcnc.gamespy.com/)'s Strategy Page (http://obelisk.planetcnc.gamespy.com/strats.shtml), although I'm not too sure about how much of what he says still applies to Tiberium Wars.


If these are cheats/hacks please don't tell me, i am not a cheater, never was and i never will be.These aren't cheats, hacks, or bugs. That doesn't stop a lot of people from considering them to be underhanded and I've heard that one balance change for Patch 1.07 (namely, removing the defensive tab from cranes) is designed to weaken Base Rushing.

Thanks alot quadhelix, good to see these aren't cheats and/or hacks and I can use them in multiplayer legit. And thanks for the heads up about people cheating and/or hacking, but I dont worry about that cuz im playing on the 360 version of the game.Thanks alot though, if you have any other strategies, for me, send em over.
